Mentorship
Evan teaches and mentors across career stages
With executives, MBA students, and undergraduates, he focuses on the contemporary challenges of ethical leadership, behavior change, and leading people in a complex, divided world, using behavioral science, cases, simulations, and feedback to help them make better decisions and build fairer, more effective organizations.
With PhD students, his role is different but connected: he mentors emerging scholars in how to ask important questions, produce rigorous and relevant research, and develop into thinkers who can shape institutions and public conversations for the better.
Across both teaching and mentorship, his aim is the same—to connect cutting-edge ideas to real-world impact, in ways that align with his research on inequality and difference and his institutional leadership on fairness, evaluation, and opportunity.
